Action Electronics and SunPower Smart Energy Partner for Green Technology Park

Action Electronics Co., Ltd. (ACTION) announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with SunPower Smart Energy Co., Ltd. (commonly known as SPE) and its subsidiary, Faryear Construction Co., Ltd., to install a solar photovoltaic (PV) system for Phase II of the Enterprise Wisdom Technology Park. The three parties held a signing ceremony on the 16th, marking a significant milestone in their joint push toward green sustainability.

The Enterprise Wisdom Technology Park, located in Taoyuan, is the city’s first next-generation smart commercial and office complex. Conceived by ACTION Founder and Chairman Peng Chun-ping with a forward-looking vision, the project is being developed under the concept of “wisdom creation,” integrating 5G applications, smart-building features, and green building certifications. It aspires to become one of Taiwan’s most iconic technology campuses. SPE is overseeing the park’s green energy transition, with PV engineering scheduled to begin by the end of this year. Through this collaboration, the park aims to realize its philosophy of environmental friendliness and sustainable development, setting a new benchmark for low-carbon industrial parks.

According to ACTION, Faryear Construction chose SPE as its partner due to the company’s proven expertise in green energy solutions and its track record of technological innovation. SPE Chairman Tsai Chung-chih emphasized that SPE has long focused on supporting businesses in their green transformation, offering integrated solutions ranging from PV system installation and smart energy management to AI-driven applications. He stressed that SPE is not only an engineering contractor but also a key enabler in helping companies implement ESG practices and move toward net zero.

The Enterprise Wisdom Technology Park is expected to be fully completed in 2026. By then, the complex—designed to combine modern architecture, AI intelligence, and renewable energy facilities—will serve as a landmark development in Taoyuan and across Taiwan. ACTION plans to hold a topping-out ceremony for Phase II and a completion ceremony for Phase I by the end of this year or early next year, with SPE invited to witness the green energy achievements realized through the partnership.

Tsai added that this collaboration not only injects renewable momentum into the park but also reflects SPE’s core mission of accelerating Taiwan’s green transformation. He said the project demonstrates how companies can pursue business growth while taking environmental responsibility, underscoring Taiwan’s strong commitment to sustainable development and net-zero goals.
